About The Position

Join a vibrant healthcare facility in Jackson, Michigan, seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for ongoing locum coverage. This position offers the potential for a locum-to-permanent opportunity. The practice accommodates both inpatient and outpatient services, with a modern clinic catering to adults aged 18 and older, supported by a strong non-invasive cardiology team.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiology or truly Board Certified.
• Completion of an Interventional Cardiology fellowship.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience.
• Active Michigan License or IMLC.
• BLS, ACLS, DEA certifications.
• Ability to handle medical malpractice or background considerations as needed.
• Must have a valid Michigan medical license or IMLC.
• Primary certifications required: BLS, ACLS, DEA.
• Board Certification in Cardiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical coverage.
• Support APP training efforts within the Interventional Cardiology specialty.
• Participate in assigned weekday and weekend calls.
• Perform various interventional cardiology procedures such as cardiac catheterization, balloon angioplasty, and stent implantation.
• Engage in both clinic and cath lab shifts, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
