About The Position

Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL) is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in Baton Rouge, LA. CIS, founded in 1983, is a nationally respected, physician-led cardiovascular organization known for innovation and clinical excellence. It offers the resources of a large group with the autonomy and physician-focused culture of an established practice. CIS provides physicians with the necessary clinical support, technology, and infrastructure for a successful practice, along with opportunities for professional growth and a strong focus on physician satisfaction and patient care. The organization comprises 63 Physicians, 59 Advanced Practice Clinicians, 43 Interventional Cardiologists, 14 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, 6 Electrophysiologists, and operates across 21 locations in Louisiana and Mississippi, with 9 telecardiology sites. The position includes an interventional schedule covering hospital, clinic, and OBL/ASC settings, with 24/7 Virtual Care Center support and APCs handling first call. There is a partnership opportunity for long-term wealth creation, and the role involves performing both coronary and peripheral interventions. This is a full-time opportunity with dedicated APC support, an established referral base, high new patient volume, and physician-led practice opportunities for growth and leadership. Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology
  • Completed a U.S. residency program
  • Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure
  • DO NOT require J-1 visa sponsorship
