About The Position

Specialist physician in the field of cardiology assigned to provide both inpatient and outpatient patient care. Performs minimally invasive procedures including placing stents in clogged arteries to allow blood to flow properly at the time of a heart attack and in patients with chest pain, repair congenital holes in the heart with closure devices, treat clots in lung arteries, drain fluid in the heart sac in emergencies, place special heart pumps to support the heart when it fails, and permanent pacemakers when needed to help the heart beat regularly.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (M.D.) in Medicine
  • 12-month Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
  • 36-month Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship
  • 36-month Internal Medicine Residency
  • Wyoming Medical License (eligible)
