Cardiac Interventionalist- Medical Director for Cardiac Cath Lab
About The Position
Exciting opportunity for a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join an expanding cardiovascular team and help shape the future of a growing community-based program. Provide strategic medical leadership for a growing Cardiac Cath Lab program, overseeing invasive, structural, and interventional cardiology services while driving operational excellence, quality outcomes, and physician engagement. Collaborate with hospital and physician leadership to enhance clinical protocols, implement innovative technologies, optimize lab efficiency, and support continued growth of the Heart & Vascular Service Line. Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, regulatory standards, and best-in-class patient care across all cardiac catheterization services. Serve as a regional and national ambassador for cardiovascular excellence, advancing education, physician development, and community awareness while helping elevate the reputation of WellSpan Evangelical Hospital's Heart & Vascular program.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
- Board Certified in Cardiology, or in-process of sitting for exam
- BC/BE licensable in the state of PA. Upon Hire Required
- Completed Fellowship in Cardiovascular Care. Upon Hire Required
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic medical leadership for a growing Cardiac Cath Lab program, overseeing invasive, structural, and interventional cardiology services while driving operational excellence, quality outcomes, and physician engagement.
