About The Position
The Kettering City School District is seeking applicants for an Intervention Specialist (Moderate to Intensive) position at Indian Riffle Elementary School, effective for the 2026-27 School Year. This role requires an Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist teaching license.
Requirements
- Valid Ohio teaching license.
- Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Educational technology skills.
Responsibilities
- Develops measurable educational goals and objectives based on assessment data and progress monitoring documentation.
- Knowledgeable about co-teaching, universal education and co-treating strategies.
- Participates in school-wide professional development programs and activities.
- Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students daily/weekly.
- Maintains records regarding student progress that is aligned with common core state standards.
- Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students based on individual needs and on-going data/progress monitoring.
