About The Position
At Ability Matters, we partner with schools and families to create inclusive, personalized, and community-based learning experiences for students with autism and other neurological disabilities. This is more than a teaching role. You’ll lead educational programming, mentor staff, and shape meaningful outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Valid Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist License
- Strong communication, leadership, and organization.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Master's preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Instructional Assistants & Paraprofessionals
- Develop and oversee IEPs aligned with student goals
- Provide direct, individualized instruction
- Use data to guide teaching strategies and progress
- Collaborate with families, schools, and service providers
- Support student growth, transitions, and long-term success
