About The Position
Orion Academy is seeking an Intervention Specialist to provide specially designed instruction tailored to each student's disability-related needs. Services may include resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout instruction. The specialist will participate in professional development focused on special education curriculum and data-tracking tools. Orion Academy opened in 2004 and serves students in grades K–8 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role is eligible for a signing bonus of up to $8,000. Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction to meet each student's unique disability-related needs, through resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development related to special education curriculum and data-tracking tools.
