About The Position

Sage Connections is hiring a full-time W-2 Intervention Specialist to provide onsite, school-based services for K–12 students in Ohio during the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple caseloads are available. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 37.5–40 hours per week, with dates listed as ASAP through May 2027. Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license in Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Intensive, or K–12.
• Strong skills in behavior management, classroom structure, and team collaboration.
• Passion for inclusive education and supporting all learners.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in school-based settings is preferred.
• Deep understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals and student needs.
• Create and manage compliant IEPs in accordance with IDEA and ODE guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and support staff.
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Modify curriculum and materials to address diverse learning needs.
• Lead IEP and ETR meetings and communicate with parents.
• Build strong family partnerships through regular updates.
