About The Position
Orion Academy, located in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an Intervention Specialist for the 2026-27 school year. Orion Academy, opened in 2004, serves students in grades K-8. The school emphasizes connecting passion with purpose and offers a supportive environment for its staff. National Heritage Academies (NHA) provides students with specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from their disability, which can include resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services. Intervention Specialists are expected to participate in professional development specific to special education curriculum and data tracking tools.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements. NHA will support you through your alternative certification journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability, such as: a resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development that is specific to special education curriculum, along with data tracking tools.
