About The Position

Catapult Learning is seeking certified teachers or non-certified teachers with more than five years of experience, to provide small-group intervention services to K-8 grade students in Miami-Dade County schools for the 2026-2027 School Year. This is a part-time & full-time position during regular school hours in schools located throughout Miami-Dade County. The role involves being an advocate, difference maker, and mentor to students, guiding and empowering them to be the best they can be with Catapult's proven curriculum and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience
  • Willingness and ability to teach Math to various grade levels
  • Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication

  • Certified teachers or non-certified teachers with more than five years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Teach Math & Reading to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting using Catapult's proven curriculum.
  • Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.
  • Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
  • Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
  • Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
  • Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
  • Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
  • Other duties as assigned.
