The Intervention Specialist develops age-appropriate plans including modifications and accommodations for children enrolled in Jewish private schools. The academic Intervention Specialist monitors progress, provides specialized instructions, and participates in meetings regarding the student’s plan and progress as part of the intervention process. The role of an Intervention Specialist at Jewish Family Service (JFS) is to provide high quality services consistent with the agency mission and professional practice. The Intervention Specialist will work in collaboration with parents, teachers, and the multidiscilinary team. The Intervention Specialist must uphold the agency’s mission and values and be a loyal ambassador of the agency.
