Responsible for providing leadership and training to other Interpreters on staff, both in and outside the classroom. This position requires patient care. The role involves interpreting/transliterating for advanced situations and in appropriate training situations as needed. The individual will report on required training needs, create training and workshop proposals, and deliver applicable training programs as approved. Responsibilities include defining training and workshop mission statements, target population, workshop goals and objectives, creating lesson plans, recording lesson materials, and devising assessment strategies and solutions. The role also involves determining and analyzing training needs, and developing, coordinating, delivering, and facilitating training classes to meet departmental and staff needs.
