About The Position

MI Technical Solutions offers internships through a partnership with the Virginia Space Grant Consortium's Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program (CSIIP). This program is an online system where companies select and hire interns from a large pool of pre-qualified college and university STEM students throughout Virginia. CSIIP provides a search tool for companies to find suitable candidates based on STEM major, skills, or distance. Summer internships are typically 10-12 weeks long, 20-40 hours per week, while spring and fall internships may vary and offer more schedule flexibility. The MI Technical Solutions internship is designed for student learning through exploration, professional development, and industry networking, aiming to equip students for tech roles and build an understanding of transferable skills. Interns can expect to complete a personal project that can fulfill academic requirements, gain industry insight from professionals, and develop new skills by assisting in other MITS programs.
