About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic problem-solvers to help us tackle the complex research, engineering, and analytical problems that present critical challenges to our nation. Our group applies artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) operations, data science, systems engineering, and more to solve urgent tactical problems. We primarily support sponsors in defense and health care, conducting research to address critical challenges. As a member of our team you will work with dedicated team members charged with developing and delivering solutions that support national priorities. You will work within a team environment and apply your skills to projects and tasks in areas such as Machine Perception, Intelligent Systems, Reasoning for Autonomy, Software Engineering, ML Operations, AI Assurance, and Data Science.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Physics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • Maintained a minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA.
  • Skilled in and/or have knowledge of one or more of the following: Programming languages (Python, C/C++), Data analysis / visualization, Database management, AI / ML techniques
  • Able to obtain Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Skilled in and/or have knowledge of Code management (Git workflow, Agile development, Jira, Docker, etc.)
  • Skilled in and/or have knowledge of UNIX / Linux CLI
  • Skilled in and/or have knowledge of Building/training deep learning models, parameter tuning, PyTorch/Tensorflow, etc.
  • Skilled in and/or have knowledge of Computer vision
  • Skilled in and/or have knowledge of Working with health data
