Why Join Our Team? This position reports to the lead of Operational Excellence (OpX) for Global Operations. This central and cross-functional organization is responsible for promoting a culture of operational excellence and supporting the continuous improvement across manufacturing units, engine assembly operations, the supply chain, and other key business units within Global Operations. Within this organization, you be supporting one or several Operational Excellence initiatives related to continuous improvement on critical processes, machine efficiency (OEE), labor efficiency (OLE), automation of production lines, machine connectivity, definition of operational standards, and, when required, supplier performance improvement. This responsibility is transversal across all production units, with the objective of improving product quality, customer delivery performance, and the overall financial results of our global operations. Internship Dates: May 4th to August 21st , 2026 Location: 1000 Marie-Victorin Blvd, Longueuil, QC, J4G 1A1, Canada. Requirements
- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
- Be pursuing studies in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Define the OpX topic(s) to work on in alignment with operational results and in coordination with the leader.
- Support one or more topics related to continuous improvement, machine efficiency, workforce efficiency, machine connectivity, or other key elements based on established priorities.
- Develop tools/dashboards to improve data consolidation and reporting.
- Work with business units to understand performance.
- Drive the action plan forward in line with performance improvement.
- Establish the link between the control tower and OpX objectives.
