About The Position

This is a Fall 2026 internship opportunity for college students who are motivated, in good academic standing, and passionate about the vineyard vines brand and a career in the retail industry. Interns will assist in day-to-day operations within their designated department, provide support to other departments as needed, and handle administrative tasks. vineyard vines is a privately held American clothing and accessory retailer founded in 1998, with over 120 retail locations, an e-commerce business, and expanding corporate headquarters. Requirements

  • An interest in Retail (Retail experience is a plus)
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • A passion for the vineyard vines brand and lifestyle
  • Great communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Flexibility and open-mindedness
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company materials
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be a college student in good academic standing
  • Must be able to provide appropriate paperwork from your school for credit only internship
  • Able to come into the office on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday (2x a week)
  • Internship schedule will be determined around class and extracurricular schedule, recommending two full 8 hour days and one 4 hour half day.

Responsibilities

  • Help with facilities tickets in the retail division
  • Sourcing vendors out to sites that need day-to-day maintenance
  • Help logistics of New Store Openings, such as booking travel, reserving hotels, ordering Staples supplies, and shipping items from the office
  • Analyze key performance indicators across the retail business
  • Produce and analyze WFM exception reporting (i.e., hours usage and efficiency, attendance-related infractions, missed punches, timecard approval, sign-off, and store audit results) escalating concerns and anomalies
  • Support the team with operational initiatives and process improvements
  • Monitor store compliance on assigned operational tasks
  • Understand and adhere to all policies related to the organization
  • Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as needed
