About The Position

Liberty Resources is offering internship opportunities in the Human Services field. Internships are available in various undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including Human Services, Social Work, Mental Health, Substance Use, Medical Assisting, Practitioner Services, and Administrative Services. These opportunities provide hands-on experience working with individuals facing mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and at-risk youth. Internships are located in Onondaga, Oneida, Oswego, Cayuga, and Chenango counties and span across multiple service areas such as Administrative Services, Mental Health Clinics, Primary Care Clinics, Family Foster Care Program, Health Home Care Management, Help Restore Hope Center, Mobile Crisis, and Crisis Respite services. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Human Services, Social Work, Mental Health, Substance Use, Medical Assisting, Practitioner Services, or Administrative Services.
• Willingness to work with individuals facing mental illness, substance use disorder, developmental disabilities, and at-risk youth.
• Commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience working with individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorder, developmental disabilities, and at-risk youth.
• Participate in various service areas including Administrative Services, Mental Health Clinics, Primary Care Clinics, Family Foster Care Program, Health Home Care Management, Help Restore Hope Center, Mobile Crisis, and Crisis Respite services.
