About The Position

Plains is seeking passionate self-starters for its Summer 2027 Internship Program. This program offers students the chance to gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas midstream sector, working alongside skilled professionals and mentors. Interns are considered vital members of the team, contributing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. The program provides comprehensive training, including on-the-job training, companywide learning series, and online educational tools. Students will have opportunities to build professional networks and take on challenging projects aligned with their degree and career interests. High-achieving participants may be eligible for a post-graduation offer. Intern opportunities are available in various business groups, including Engineering, Health, Safety and Environmental, Land, and Operations, in Midland, TX.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree at an accredited university.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong desire to learn the Oil & Gas business.
• Proven flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing business conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be able to commit to the work term starting May 17, 2027.
• Must comply with the Company’s Drug & Alcohol Policy including pre-employment testing.
• Must provide satisfactory references and complete a Criminal Background Check.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of their employment (not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship).
