Internship - Cybersecurity Engineer

About The Position

This is a hands-on, cross-functional internship designed to give you a well-rounded view of what it looks like to build and bring a technical security product to market. You’ll spend time working alongside our engineering team on real product work, and you’ll also get exposure to how we think about go-to-market strategy in the cybersecurity space. If you’re curious about how software gets built, secured, and sold, this is a good place to be.

Requirements

Currently working toward a BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related engineering field
Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
Basic understanding of software development concepts and version control (e.g., Git)
Genuine curiosity about software security and how vulnerabilities are found and fixed
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a small, fast-moving team
Ability to work on-site at our Baltimore, MD office

Responsibilities

Contribute to engineering tasks including coding, testing, and code review participation
Support development and maintenance of automated test suites
Contribute to SCA/SAST benchmarking work, helping evaluate and compare security analysis tools and approaches
Assist with documentation of technical processes and product features
Participate in the development of cybersecurity go-to-market plans, including competitive research, positioning, and content support
Observe and contribute to cross-functional discussions across engineering, product, and marketing
