About The Position

The Capital Finance internship will offer hands-on experience in various areas of financial analysis, accounting, and project management. The intern will work alongside the finance team to assist in day-to-day operations, provide financial data to project managers, and gain exposure to the financial planning and processes that take place within a large organization.

Requirements

• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred majors include: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or similar.
• Preferred coursework completed: Financial Accounting, Reporting, Business Finance, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Performs data entry, record keeping, and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Participates in meetings, takes notes, and prepares reports for senior management.
• Assists in addressing invoice processing issues.
• Supports internal audits and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Assists in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements.
• Supports project teams’ ad hoc information requests (vendor contracts, invoice and budget queries).
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
