About The Position

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience and learn how a growing healthcare organization identifies and pursues new business opportunities? Join Better Health Group as a Business Development Intern and gain real-world exposure to the strategies and initiatives that support organizational growth. This internship provides an opportunity to work alongside our Business Development team and support a variety of projects.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited university/college program (or obtained Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree no earlier than 24 months prior to date of hire); minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and results-oriented capabilities
• Must be able to work professionally with confidential information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
• Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration

Responsibilities

• Provide entry- to intermediate-level administrative and clerical support, under the supervision of a manager or supervisor
• Participate in projects, programs, and events designed to develop professional skills and expertise
• Participate in the planning and implementation of initiatives
• Interact with coworkers and/or patients
• Conduct research, prepare reports and/or presentations based on findings, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency
• Take notes during meetings
• May shadow multiple positions and train in a variety of tasks
• Receive guidance, training, and mentoring from manager, supervisor, or other professional staff
• Perform other related duties as assigned
