About The Position

Foresight Financial Group, Inc. is now accepting applications for a 10-week summer internship in 2027. Based in Winnebago, Illinois, Foresight is a growing financial holding company which owns multiple community banks in Illinois and has assets over $1.6 billion. Foresight maintains a loan portfolio which includes commercial and residential real estate, food and agricultural businesses, and commercial and industrial companies. Foresight common stock trades publicly on the OTCQX Bulletin Board under the trading symbol “FGFH.” The intern will learn about the many areas of banking, with an emphasis on commercial lending, by completing a series of rotations through Foresight and subsidiary banks. The intern will participate in client meetings, loan committees, sales and marketing activities, and community events. Primary focus will include analysis of commercial credit risk, preparation of loan proposals, and monitoring of compliance with banking regulations. The intern will also complete a commercial banking special project, to be presented to Foresight senior management upon the internship's completion.

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
On track to earn degrees in 2027 and 2028.
Attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities
