As an Internet Marketplace Merchandiser you will be tasked with helping to manage our online catalog for our Marketplaces channel, focusing on listing error resolution. You’ll support our Marketplace Operations, Business Development teams, and sometimes external vendors or customers. You will work with large batches of data and strive to find opportunities for improvement. The successful Internet Marketplace Merchandiser will thrive with strong analytical skills, an ambitious spirit, and proclivities for hard work, critical thinking, and creativity.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, basic SQL knowledge
  • Comfort in working with large datasets
  • A coachable, hungry attitude primed for growth
  • Multi-tasking capabilities and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • An analytical, detail-oriented personality with an ability to think creatively
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with customers, vendors, and team members

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Supports a category strategy, expanding the Preferred Supplier Program and segmentation based on the business needs and effective merchandising principles.
  • Executes a quarterly category business plans based on detailed analysis of previous results and market trends.
  • Undertakes the maintenance and management of product information and life cycle for items in the digital selling channel.
  • Coordinates complex multi-year supplier relationships aligned to enable our front-end portfolio strategies.
  • Calculates the performance results of assigned categories and total results for department and takes corrective action as appropriate.
  • Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
