International Treasury Manager

About The Position

The International Treasury Manager and Analysis position will oversee and manage all international treasury related activities located in China, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, and any other international entity created in the future. This position will also oversee and strategically direct the day-to-day, tactical work related to the international treasury function which are performed by the International Treasury Staff.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in the Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • 3-5 years of Treasury experience, financial analysis and business planning
  • 7+ years of general experience

Nice To Haves

  • International Finance degree and MBA a plus.
  • Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage all international banking functions (including AutoZone and subsidiaries within China, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, any other international entity created in the future) to ensure proper cash management, liquidity, capital and related activities are employed in-country and banking functions are managed to ensure the lowest cost and service levels are property maintained
  • Mange the set-up of bank accounts, bank relationships, credit card processing, armored car, and all aspects related to cost of tender acceptance related to international entities
  • Manage the international capital structure of the company which includes cash forecasts, working capital management, supplier financing, dividends, external investments (over $150MM), intercompany loans, and any external debt outside the US
  • Analyze and manage key global commodity risk exposure data (e.g. foreign exchange, fuel, commodities) and develop models to quantify risks on an enterprise basis
  • Develop and implement commodity (including foreign exchange) hedging strategies, if necessary, and ensure that such risks are communicated throughout the organization and provide commodity forecasting for planning purposes
  • Evaluate current programs and developing analytic models to evaluate hedge effectiveness, and alternative hedging strategies from both an economics and accounting perspective
  • Serve as the direct liaison to Risk Management for all international insurance coverage needs, including but not limited to, insurance information requests, local country insurance requirements and placements, surety bonds, and claims analysis
  • Serve as the direct liaison to Credit Card Administration (PCard, T&E Card etc) for all international credit card needs including, correspondence with card holders and card issuers, receipt of rebates, and any other cardholder related issues that may come up.
  • Performs special projects as directed by management
