About The Position

IDEX Corporation is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for an International Senior Manager position, reporting to the Director. In this challenging role, you will broaden your experience as you assist in planning, evaluating and analyzing various international activities to determine potential tax opportunities and issues for a fast-growing, dynamic and highly acquisitive multi-national corporation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years international tax experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or a combination of Big 4 and large, multi-national corporation
  • CPA or a MS in Accounting/Tax is required
  • Experience preparing and reviewing all international tax forms included in the company’s US Form 1120, ASC 740 and FIN 48 workpapers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated history of being a team player with strong leadership and team building skills
  • Should be able to independently manage tax compliance and accounting processes and other assigned special projects
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Exposure to the OneSource Income Provision/Tax Return software a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review and oversee the quarterly and annual ASC740 financial reporting for our international entities, including review of effective tax rate, current/deferred analysis and valuation allowance topics.
  • Review and oversee the preparation of the US corporate compliance with regard to all US international tax concepts including GILTI, FDII and BEAT and the corresponding reporting requirements Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, etc.
  • Prepare and/or review the Country-by-Country reporting, Local Country and Master File documentation, along with other transfer pricing items as required.
  • Monitor tax legislation both domestically and in the various countries in which IDEX operates, assessing the impact to the company and implementing any changes as required.
  • Assist in the research, analysis, and documentation of international transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and other restructuring and/or planning ideas.
  • Aid in the support of any income tax audits both by federal and international taxing authorities.
  • Maintain and enhance strong working relationships with accounting, legal, and treasury functions, as well as with the operating divisions.
  • Acquire, develop, motivate, and retain high performing people and team, ensuring a strong bench and individual growth.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, especially those related to technology and automation.
