This role is responsible for leading tax compliance and planning engagements, delivering high-quality client service through technical quality control, cost effectiveness, accuracy, and timeliness. The role will be a member of the International Services Group leadership team overseeing various matters within the group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting preferred.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • 10+ years of public accounting experience with significant corporate international tax experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. international corporate/entity tax law and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with cross-border transactions, multinational structures, and international tax planning.
  • Strong understanding of international tax forms and reporting requirements.
  • Strong research, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership and team development experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex engagements and build trusted client relationships.
  • Experience with tax research and compliance software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex international tax engagements for multinational businesses, privately held companies, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Advise clients on cross-border tax planning, international structures, transactions, and compliance.
  • Oversee preparation and review of U.S. tax returns with cross boarder implications and information reporting.
  • Research and advise on international tax matters including CFCs, Subpart F, GILTI, foreign tax credits, PFICs, tax treaties, and withholding requirements.
  • Monitor changes in U.S. and international tax laws and communicate impacts to clients and team members.
  • Coordinate with domestic tax teams and foreign advisors to provide integrated solutions.
  • Review tax returns, workpapers, and deliverables for technical accuracy and quality.
  • Manage engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, and client expectations.
  • Mentor and develop tax professionals and support recruiting efforts.
  • Leader of knowledge base within your corporate/entity tax technical skillset of the International Services Group.
  • Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services and business development.
