About The Position

HarperCollins Publishers is seeking an intern to join their International Sales team for the Summer of 2027. The International Sales department manages the sales of HarperCollins titles (Adult and Children’s, Print and Digital) in markets outside of the US. This role offers a valuable opportunity to collaborate with booksellers globally and with affiliate offices in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and India.

Requirements

Must be available to work in the NYC office from Monday – Thursday for a total of 28 hours per week, from June 7 – August 12, 2027.
Candidates eligible for this internship must be available to work in a full-time capacity in 2027 or 2028.
Open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master’s students, or entry-level candidates with up to 1 year of work experience.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Develop customized pitches for accounts with Sales Managers.
Curate title lists for seasonal presentations.
Review sales data and create performance reports for titles, categories, customers, and channels.
Perform ad hoc sales tasks using Microsoft Office programs.
Attend internal/external meetings and circulate notes.
