This role is part of the External Affairs team, specifically reporting to the Director of Regional Development. The International Regional Director is responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 150 major gifts prospects (giving capacity of $100,000+) with a primary focus on India and the United Arab Emirates. The position involves designing and implementing a major gifts plan to expand Wharton's international reach and build the donor pipeline. Key aspects of the role include developing regional expertise in fundraising practices, philanthropic trends, and cultural norms, representing Wharton External Affairs internationally, and collaborating with various stakeholders across the School and University to advance institutional priorities. Extensive travel, including extended trips and some weekend/evening work, is required.
