About The Position

The MPD Project Manager is responsible for overall management of MPD projects, ensuring that all aspects are managed and delivered efficiently and safely in accordance with the project plan. The role is involved in pre-project planning, including rig visits and modifications, MPD candidate selection and feasibility, front-end and detailed engineering design, and procedures development. The position also develops scopes of work and technical specifications for tenders, responds to bidder queries during tender clarifications, and reviews technical tender and bid submissions. This is an office-based position with occasional work-site visits when required.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of MPD operational experience.
• At least 2 years of MPD project management experience.
• Technical competence in MPD drilling and cementing operations.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in a related field of engineering.
• Knowledge of and ability to implement QHSE policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of equipment certification requirements and operating limitations.
• Ability to comply strictly with customer guidelines and procedures and ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Full understanding of drilling applications, reservoir data, and formation characteristics.
• Understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
• Valid IWCF supervisory-level well-control certification or certification as required by the customer.
• Competence with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's or MSc. degree in Petroleum Engineering.
