About The Position

Fisher Investments International is seeking an International Investment Counsellor to service a roster of high-net-worth clients living in Canada, while based in the United States. This role offers a specialized approach focused on private clients, with a firm structure that separates sales and client service, eliminating the need to wear multiple hats. No prospecting is required. This is an opportunity to leverage finance experience to improve the investment universe. As an International Investment Counsellor, you will be the voice of Fisher Investments to clients in Canada, partnering with internal portfolio decision-makers, research teams, client service associates, and the sales team. The firm is a fee-only fiduciary, ensuring compensation aligns with client interests without commissions. A unique training program provides elevated finance and capital markets education. You will report to a group manager with prior experience in the role, offering guidance on client relationships and personalized career development. This is an onsite position located in Camas, WA.

Requirements

• CFA (passed any level) and Series 65 (company will assist in obtaining upon starting).
• 4+ years of experience with portfolio management and client relationship building.
• Bachelor's degree.
• A thoughtful consultative approach with an emphasis on client focus.

Responsibilities

• Work with Canadian clients to build a trusting and professional relationship.
• Proactively connect with clients on a quarterly basis to review their asset allocation and ensure alignment with long-term financial goals.
• Educate clients on the firm's top-down portfolio strategy, their investments, important market events, and the competitive landscape.
• Rely on the sales team to gradually build your roster of high-net-worth clients within the first year.
