About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual International/Offshore Safety Representative with a strong background in HSE operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and adherence to safety protocols and regulations on offshore activities. They will play a vital role in maintaining a safe working environment for the entire offshore team, minimizing the risk of incidents and accidents, and promoting a safety-first culture.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 7-10 years of experience required in oil and gas or accelerated on-the-job training in lieu of 4 years.
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish.
  • Valid Passport
  • Proof of Marine Trash Debris training (offshore only)
  • Valid Driver’s License (onshore only)
  • Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC, as required by client company)
  • Additional training as required by client company and/or location

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years’ experience preferred, specifically in drilling and completions.
  • Current 30 CRF 250, Subpart O Safety System required certificate (offshore only)
  • API RP 2D Crane Certificate (a.k.a. Crane Rigger Training) (offshore only)

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, international/offshore execution, and sustainability of the Managing Safe Work Process (MSW), including the associated corporate standards such as Permit to Work, Hazard Analysis, Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, Isolation of Hazardous Energy, Working at Heights, Gas Detection, and Lifting and Rigging.
  • Position may require development/integration of MSW standards as needed to support the business unit.
  • Accountable for supporting efforts to prevent significant incidents with a heavy focus on eliminating significant injuries and fatalities through providing guidance on implementation and execution of processes and procedures that comply with HSE regulatory requirements and OE expectations.
  • Build relationships and partner with OE advisors within the HSER team for incident investigation and reporting, contractor management, environmental, regulatory, and occupational hygiene.
  • Participate as a key member of the facilities and pipeline team.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned such as participation in safety engagements, human performance learning teams, assistance in audits, development of Oil Gas Development Plans for COGCC, occupational hygiene, incident management/response, and incident investigations.
  • Perform and actively participate in the MOC and PSSR process.
