About The Position

DePauw University is seeking a part-time International Credential Analyst to work remotely. This role is responsible for evaluating international academic credentials by unweighing international transcripts and converting international grading systems to a standard US 4.0 scale. The analyst will identify missing or supplemental materials needed for accurate evaluations and collaborate with university leadership to maintain consistent grading standards and evaluation practices. While the position is remote, regular communication with the Operations Team, AVP for International Enrollment, Assistant Director of Admission, International Specialist, and application processing staff is expected. All training will be conducted remotely. This position is eligible for remote work in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Kentucky.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree required.
  • One or more years of admission experience required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Mail.
  • Working knowledge of foreign educational systems grading scales and curricula.
  • Ability to interpret foreign transcripts.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are required, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding time-management skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully manage time commitments are required.
  • The appropriate candidate will be competent with technology and its application in higher education, have strong administrative and operational skills and be a self-starter who works well independently.

  • Slate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate international academic credentials: Review International transcripts and secondary school reports to unweight GPAs and recalculate scores onto a standardized U.S. 4.0 grading scale.
  • Identify missing or supplemental materials: flag missing documents, request clarifying academic information, or identify additional materials needed to conduct an accurate evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the AVP of International Enrollment to maintain consistent grading standards, conversion formulas, and file evaluation practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
