This position we be located at our corporate headquarters in the Minneapolis Metro Area. We work a hybrid model: Mon/Fri are work from home days and Tues/Wed/Thurs are in office days. POSITION OVERVIEW The International Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a vital executive who oversees the financial operations and strategy for the international operations (outside the US) of BI Worldwide. This leader drives financial performance, manages risk, ensures compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and fosters sustainable growth. The CFO guides financial policies, manages global tax and treasury, and provides strategic insight to advance business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent executive leadership role in a global organization.
  • Proven expertise in international financial management, cross border tax strategy, treasury, and currency risk management.
  • Strong understanding of multi-jurisdictional accounting, reporting standards, and regulatory environments.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience leading the finance function for a middle market company in the business services industry is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute financial strategies supporting global growth and profitability.
  • Leader for all financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, significant investments, and capital structure.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning efforts.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial and operational strategies.
  • Collaborate with all regions on new and existing customer pricing strategies to ensure optimal profitable growth, with a focus on driving continued improvements in margins.
  • Oversee daily financial operations including accounting, reporting, and analysis.
  • Ensure accurate, timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with international standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Monitor financial metrics to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial systems and controls across global entities.
  • Direct global tax planning, compliance, and reporting to optimize efficiency and mitigate risk.
  • Manage treasury, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity, banking relationships, and capital allocation.
  • Oversee international transfer pricing, tax audits, and regulatory filings.
  • Develop strategies for foreign exchange risk and international cash repatriation.
  • Identify, assess, and manage operational, financial, and strategic risks.
  • Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and financial integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards globally.
  • Lead enterprise risk management and oversee insurance programs.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global finance team.
  • Foster a culture of improvement, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the finance function.
  • Serve as a BIW representative Board Member for all foreign subsidiaries
  • Serve as key liaison to global auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
  • Communicate financial results, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
