International Business Development Analyst Principal

About The Position

Identify, evaluate, and execute growth opportunities in overseas markets for Multi-Mission Air Defense (MMAD) subsegment of Radar Sensor Systems (RSS). Collaborate with senior business development leaders, market research teams, and cross functional stakeholders, to conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and financial modeling to support strategic international expansion initiatives, and international partnership development for MMAD. Support and pursue strategies resulting in advancement of international sales for the MMAD portfolio. Lead the development of international capture strategies to identify and pursue Sentinel A4 and TPQ-53 opportunities to meet growth expectations under several customer organizations within the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, and international allied partners. The successful candidate will mentor and develop employees on all aspects of the win plan, international customer relationship building and international capture development. Build and maintain trusting and productive relationships with international customers, influencers and key opinion leaders within the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, and targeted international allied partners. Work with the program management and finance team to develop the Orders LRP/OpPlan. Manage assigned new business funds, including working with Engineering to establish and achieve IRAD objectives. Interface regularly across the LM enterprise to achieve business goals and promote a “One LM” approach – including but not limited to other RMS Lines of Business, other LM Business Areas, LM Government Affairs (LMGA), and the Corporate Engineering and Technology Office (CETO).

Requirements

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in international business development, capture management, and/or program management.
  • Extensive understanding of Lockheed Martin win plan, capture process, and business development practices. Experience leading competitive pursuits.
  • Experience supporting customer contact tracking, decision mapping, competitive intelligence and customer assessments.
  • Direct experience with U.S. Army (PEO M&S, RCTTO) and U.S. Air Force.
  • Basic understanding of the Radar Sensor System portfolio and specifically MMAD products.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing and presenting data to senior/executive management and advanced communications skills in Power Point, written media, and verbal presentations.
  • Experience in leveraging stakeholder functional organizations: Program Management, Engineering, Sustainment Operations, Contracts, Business Ventures/Offset, ITC and Legal.
  • Willingness and ability to support frequent travel internationally to create market expansion.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or business.
  • Prior experience interfacing with and briefing senior industry and customer executives.
  • Demonstrated experience with business transformation efforts, and engagement/understanding of LM’s Digital Transformation initiative.
  • Prior leadership experience.
  • Participation in Capture Management Development program.
  • Active Secret Clearance
