About The Position

As an International Affairs Program Management Support, you will serve as a program advisor for extremely time-critical technical projects, test projects, or tasks requiring appropriate technical expertise. You will assist in acquisition planning, market research, and drafting technical requirements and documents. This role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including international equities, to ensure program needs are identified and met for project goals. You will support the development of documents required for systems acquisition and be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and editing final program reports, documents, and briefings. Leveraging experience in SAP or SCI environments, you will coordinate with Government security agencies for program documentation approvals and liaise across the Department of Defense (DoD) as necessary. This coordination includes producing, tracking, and managing all agreements and documentation for seamless transitions into frameworks for organizing, training, and equipping for program success. You will help the Government assess the technical sufficiency, cost, quality, and timely delivery of program deliverables. Additionally, you will confer with program managers to provide technical advice and assist with problem resolution, and report status on all support efforts, including updates on status and performance, major activities, challenges, opportunities, and deliverables.

Requirements

  • 20+ years' experience of relevant Department of War program experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in SAP and/or SCI environment, with at least 1 year within the last 5 years
  • Ability to work on high-visibility, mission-critical aspects of a program and perform all functional duties independently
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing concisely and with technical accuracy
  • Ability to translate complex ideas and data into simple, actionable recommendations or easily differentiated courses of action
  • Current/active Top Secret/SCI; Current or recent DoD SAP access

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in relevant field
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act - Level I acquisition Certification / Level II desired

Responsibilities

  • Report status on all support efforts including updates in status and performance, major activities, challenges and opportunities, and deliverables.
