About The Position

FLOWCO is accepting applications from all qualified applicants for Internal Service Technician positions within IPS – Midland Spooling. Internal Service Technicians are an essential part of our field operations and work as part of an effective two-person crew supporting IPS spooling and field service activities. The position requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, equipment care, operational efficiency, and customer service. Technicians must be prepared to work in a fast-paced field environment where schedules, job locations, and operational requirements may change based on customer and business needs.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A or Class B with Air Brake Endorsement is required. Automatic-transmission-only CDL restrictions are not acceptable.
  • Must maintain all required licenses, endorsements, medical qualifications, driving qualifications, and authorization necessary to operate assigned company vehicles and equipment.
  • Must maintain a safe driving record and comply with all FLOWCO fleet and driving requirements.
  • A strong commitment to workplace, equipment, and driving safety.
  • Dependability and the ability to report to work as scheduled and prepared to perform assigned duties.
  • The ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced field environment.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a two-person crew.
  • The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Effective communication skills with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and other personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Support IPS Midland Spooling field and service operations as part of a two-person crew.
  • Safely load, unload, handle, transport, secure, inspect, operate, and maintain assigned vehicles, trailers, equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Verify proper load securement before operating or moving vehicles and trailers.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment only when properly authorized, trained, and qualified.
  • Follow established company procedures, customer requirements, and supervisor instructions.
  • Complete required equipment inspections, paperwork, service tickets, checklists, and other job documentation accurately and timely.
  • Identify and immediately communicate equipment problems, maintenance needs, unsafe conditions, or operational concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist with maintaining company equipment in good operating condition and take appropriate steps to prevent unnecessary damage or wear.
  • Work professionally and respectfully with FLOWCO employees, customers, vendors, and other personnel.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while representing FLOWCO at customer locations.
  • Work in, on, and around production trees and associated production equipment while following all applicable safety requirements.
  • Support other operational duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Be available for field assignments, changing schedules, outdoor work, weekends, extended hours, and other operational requirements as necessary.
