About The Position

Our client is seeking an Internal Sales/Advisory Consultant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global team, providing top-tier service to existing and prospective clients while expanding the business on a product and global level. The successful candidate will be responsible to drive sales growth across public and private investment solutions by partnering with advisors and institutions, leveraging market insights, strategic outreach, and consultative relationship management to increase assets and expand client engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Knowledge of financial marketplace
  • Experience with the sales of financial products
  • Two years of prior financial services experience preferred
  • Series 7 and 66 (or 7, 63 and 65) licenses already passed
  • Strong interest in sales and proactive outreach
  • Experience with analyzing data to create a business plan
  • Strong presentation, communication and organization skills
  • Ability to support 5-10% travel
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) preferred, with ability to complete the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within 3 months of start date

Responsibilities

  • Partner with External Sales counterparts to promote public and private investment solutions, including Private Alternatives, Mutual Funds, SMAs, and ETFs across assigned territories.
  • Build relationships with Financial Advisors, RIAs, Bank Trusts, and broker-dealer channels through virtual meetings, phone calls, and digital outreach.
  • Execute targeted sales strategies, prepare action plans, retain assets, source new opportunities, and drive asset growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in financial markets, investment products, portfolio construction, competitive offerings, and industry trends to support consultative sales discussions.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and firm resources such as Salesforce, Broadridge, Allego, and Seismic to develop business plans, identify opportunities, and achieve sales objectives.
  • Generate and conduct advisor meetings, product presentations, and portfolio manager discussions while identifying client needs and cross-selling appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain strong advisor relationships, respond to product inquiries, keep CRM records up to date, and develop knowledge of key firms, platforms, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to meet sales targets, resolve client service issues, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, policies, and compliance standards.
