About The Position

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for an Internal Producer (Sales Executive) to join their team. Our client is a leading provider of business insurance, employee benefits, and risk management solutions, partnering with organizations across North America to help them navigate complex and evolving business challenges. This is a highly consultative sales role focused on building relationships with life sciences organizations, including biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies. The Internal Producer will play a key role in driving new business by translating complex risk and regulatory environments into clear, value-driven solutions for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences discipline (biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, pharmacology, or related field) preferred. OR prior roles in biotech/pharma/medical device companies, clinical research, lab management, or technical consulting.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales, business development, or client-facing role
  • Proven ability to engage technical stakeholders and translate complex concepts into clear, business-focused solutions
  • Excellent consultative selling skills, relationship-building ability, and strong communication style
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex challenges and provide strategic recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow new business within the life sciences sector (biotech, pharma, medical device, clinical research, etc.)
  • Build trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders, including R&D, operations, and compliance leaders
  • Identify client needs related to risk, insurance, and regulatory requirements, and deliver tailored solutions
  • Lead consultative sales conversations, translating complex scientific and operational risks into business value
  • Partner internally with subject matter experts to design and present comprehensive solutions
  • Maintain and expand a strong network within life sciences communities, including industry associations and events
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes (FDA, EMA), and evolving risks within the life sciences space
