About The Position

CHI Health Clinic, a member of CommonSpirit Health™, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our primary care & multispecialty practice in Kearney, NE. The role also involves participating in academic teaching within the Creighton School of Medicine Internal Medicine rural track program onsite. New graduates are welcome. This is an opportunity to join an established and rapidly growing Primary Care practice that provides a full scope of outpatient services in a traditional ambulatory clinic model. The position offers a flexible schedule with clinic call shared evenly among providers. The clinic is equipped with in-house X-ray and lab services. The affiliated CHI Health Good Samaritan hospital is a Level II Trauma Center with a 200-bed facility, a 24-bed open ICU, and hospitalist and intensivist programs. Both the clinic and hospital utilize the EPIC EMR system. There is an academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine, featuring an onsite Internal Medicine Rural Track Program.

Requirements

American Board Certified or Board Eligible
Nebraska State license required
Nebraska DEA required

Responsibilities

Provide a full scope of outpatient services in a traditional ambulatory clinic model.
Participate in academic teaching - Creighton School of Medicine Internal Medicine rural track program onsite.
Share clinic call evenly between providers.
