About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an Internal Medicine Primary Care Physician Assistant to join their growing team in Hellertown, Pennsylvania. This is an opportunity to work within a nationally recognized, forward-thinking health network known for its commitment to teamwork, compassion, and technology. The Hellertown practice will initially consist of one Physician and one Physician Assistant, with plans for growth. The office operates from 8 am to 5 pm, with call duties rotated among regional clinicians. Patient visit durations are structured to allow for comprehensive care, with longer slots for new patients, preventative care for older adults, and medical clearances, and shorter slots for younger patients, routine follow-ups, and acute visits. Full-time employment is defined as 36 patient-facing hours per week, with part-time and per diem options available. The Internal Medicine division is expanding, with over 20 practices and 100 clinicians. LVHN offers a supportive environment with flexible schedules, nurse triage for call, and an on-site/remote care team to assist with administrative tasks. Requirements

Valid License/Certification in Pennsylvania, or the ability to obtain one.
2 years of Primary Care/Urgent Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide primary care services within an internal medicine setting.
Manage patient care with a focus on quality outcomes and patient-centered, progressive primary care.
Participate in call rotation with other regional clinicians.
Utilize flexible Monday-Friday schedules.
Collaborate with a supportive care team, including nurse triage and administrative support.
