About The Position

Mindify is seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Medicine Practitioner who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our growing healthcare team in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients, with a strong focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and patient education. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school, or Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Internal Medicine.
  • Active and unrestricted New Jersey medical license.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (for physicians).
  • Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of outpatient internal medicine or primary care experience.
  • Experience working with diverse and underserved populations.
  • Knowledge of value-based care and quality metrics.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients.
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions including hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other internal medicine concerns.
  • Perform annual physical exams, wellness visits, and preventive health screenings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and treatment options.
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Coordinate care with specialists, behavioral health providers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical team meetings.
  • Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population.
