About The Position

Aptura AI is seeking Internal Medicine Physicians based in the United States to join an upcoming AI project. This opportunity allows U.S. licensed clinicians to influence how AI comprehends and enhances clinical reasoning, patient interactions, and healthcare delivery. As part of an expert network, physicians will be matched to AI initiatives based on their experience, subspecialty interest, and clinical background. They will collaborate with AI researchers to review, label, evaluate, and refine AI systems designed to support healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes. This role is fully remote, offers flexible scheduling, and is suitable for physicians balancing clinical, academic, or research commitments. The project is set to launch in mid-April, with onboarding currently open. The work involves applying clinical expertise to build a high-quality clinical evaluation benchmark, including synthetic patient persona validation, transcript realism and voice adherence review, medical rubric development, and LLM response evaluation. All tasks are completed asynchronously through a dedicated labeling platform using independent clinical judgment.

Requirements

  • Licensed MD in the United States with active state medical license
  • US Board Certified
  • Strong familiarity with primary or internal medicine care workflows, documentation, and terminology
  • Excellent analytical, written, and clinical summarization skills
  • Native or near-native English proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical accuracy
  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously in a distributed team environment
  • Commitment of 10 hours per week minimum
