About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings. Physicians will provide bedside wound care in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals, conducting weekly rounds. The practice utilizes cutting-edge clinical technologies and a proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time documentation. The role offers significant autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance, with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Comprehensive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship are provided, ensuring expertise in the field.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
- Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship.
