About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings. Physicians will provide bedside wound care in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. The role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will receive comprehensive training, including a wound fellowship, to become experts in wound management utilizing advanced technologies and modalities. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities daily to treat approximately 20-30 patients. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday
