About The Position
Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join an outpatient primary care practice. This position offers a unique blend of community-based primary care with academic involvement, including teaching and mentoring internal medicine residents.This is an excellent opportunity for a physician passionate about longitudinal patient care, preventive medicine, and medical education in a collaborative, well-supported setting.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Interest or experience in resident teaching strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- 100% outpatient primary care
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Established patient panel with strong referral base
- Integrated care model with access to specialists and hospital services
- Opportunity to help shape resident outpatient education
- Supervise and precept internal medicine residents in the outpatient clinic
- Participate in resident education, mentorship, and professional development
- Collaborate with program leadership on quality improvement and educational initiatives
- Academic appointment available (rank commensurate with experience)
