Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- 1–3 years of residency or relevant experience
- Virginia Medical License (or eligibility)
- Valid DEA Registration
Responsibilities
- Managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and high cholesterol
- Conducting annual wellness visits , physical exams, and age-appropriate screenings
- Providing preventive care , health education, and vaccinations
- Performing well-woman exams , including birth control counseling
- Interpreting diagnostic tests and coordinating care with specialists when needed
- Supporting patients in weight management and lifestyle modification plans
