Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board Certified or Board Eligible by an approved medical board
Licensed to practice medicine in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
Valid DEA registration

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, longitudinal care for patients of all ages.
Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
Conducting annual wellness visits and routine physical exams
Managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and obesity
Administering age-appropriate immunizations and preventive screenings
Performing well-woman exams, including birth control counseling
Educating patients on health maintenance, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention
Collaborating with specialists and care teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care
