Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Infectious Disease Physician to provide exceptional care to our community in beautiful Coastal Virginia. This role offers a unique blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities , ensuring variety and professional growth.

Requirements

Doctoral Degree in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) – Required
Successful completion of residency or demonstrated experience in Infectious Disease – Required
Active Virginia Medical License – Required
Valid DEA registration for controlled substances – Required

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat complex infections , including those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.
Manage antibiotic stewardship and guide appropriate antimicrobial use.
Provide care for patients with HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and other chronic infectious conditions .
Consult on hospital-acquired infections , infection prevention, and outbreak management.
Collaborate with primary care and specialty teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
