About The Position
Join a well-established internal medicine practice outside Pensacola, FL, as a hospital employee. This role offers the opportunity to focus on patient care without the burden of managing overhead costs, as the office is fully operated and managed by the health system. The practice currently consists of two other board-certified Internists and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Responsibilities encompass a broad range of outpatient adult internal medicine procedures, with ancillary services available. Subspecialty interests are welcomed. The average daily patient load is 25, and all inpatient needs are handled by the hospitalist department. Call coverage is shared equally among the physicians, with a 1:3 ratio, and is phone-only. An academic affiliation is available for those interested, allowing for up to 50% of your time to be spent teaching residents in a nationally recognized teaching hospital.
