About The Position

A growing Family Medicine practice is looking to hire a BC/BE Internal Medicine OR Family Medicine physician to join their team in Michigan City, IN. This is a flexible full-time schedule with options for four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days. The role involves weekday and weekend call, with an average outpatient volume of 20-25 patients per 8-hour day. There is a potential to collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Providers, and an opportunity to see patients virtually for 25% of contact hours. While Women's Health experience is preferred, it is not required. The practice has on-site lab and X-ray, and access to a network of specialty practices including Ortho, Rheumatology, ENT, Endo, Derm, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Hem/Onc, Vascular, OB/Gyn, GI, ID, Pulm, etc. The practice is part of a multispecialty group with over 1,100 MD/DOs and APPs across 12 hospitals and over 240 locations, emphasizing a flexible and family-friendly work-life balance.

Requirements

• BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine MD/DO
• ACLS/BLS certification
• Indiana Medical License or in progress

• Women's Health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an outpatient setting.
